About Journey

In March 2017, during my residency at the Prince’s Charities of Canada, I took a trip by train from Vancouver to Toronto. The tour was arranged by the charity, offering me an opportunity to see the country and inspire art pieces like this one.

Travelling on the train, I felt like I was riding in a creature, from all the jostling and vibrations. This led me to choose a wolf to represent the trip in this painting.
